Physical Goods
Whilst I have a focus on paper goods such as comics and prints, I also design and stock other goods such as keychains and sticker sheets! This ensures that my work is accessible at different price points and in different forms for people to enjoy.
Previous shows & Notable mentions
I some of my previous shows include Sonic Con (2024 & 2025), RakuCon (2025), Hyper Japan Manchester (2025).My 2026 events include Megacon London, Megacon Birmingham and MCM ComicCon London.I have also been published in “Embracing the Glow” zine, which can be found in numerous independent stores in London. I was also a part of the PYRAMID x Flamingos exhibition “The Joy of Sonic” in Leeds.I have worked with Raku Events (RakuCon, SonicCon) to deliver character artwork for their promotional material. This has included illustration and designing characters based on a description, more information here.I am also experienced in designing and manufacturing merchandise, such as stickersheets, keychains and badges.

Raku Events
From 2025, I volunteered to create artwork for Raku Events (RakuCon, SonicCon), delivering character artwork for their promotional material. This has included illustration and designing characters based on a description and simplified starting point.Below are some of the illustrations I have produced, and how they have been used. Along with physical material, my work is used via their socials (@RakuCon, @SonicConUK) to add flair to their promotional posts.
Commitment to Sustainability
A lot of my artwork is inspired by cycles of life, not only the perspective of lived life but also the life of materials.I do my best to prioritise UK based manufacturing when I am not printing or making something myself. The vast majority of my prints are on, or are slowly being replaced with recycled paper. A huge number of items I use within my business practice are sourced second hand - everything has the capacity to be reused!
Any artwork prints created via lino printing is done so on paper that has been made myself, using pulp made from discontinued prints or paper goods that would otherwise be disposed of.I do my best to ensure that any single-use materials are re-used.
A brief introduction
I’m Kieren S. Charles, a multidisciplinary illustrator and comic creator nestled in England. Most of my work is inspired by untold emotions, portrayed through abstract means, carrying themes of loss, mental health and LGBT— yet all being interpretative. I enjoy cats and detectives, and in my free time, drawing art for media I find comfort and joy in, or that I’m nostalgic for!I am currently looking for work, including events to stall at or client work. I am also looking to collaborate with independent stores to stock my physical work, feel free to reach out!
